I have learned to listen, to care for the whole you and to treat the cause not the disease. I have learned that little things matter, like a phone call or text message to check on you after an office visit or discharge from the hospital. I learned that feeling better can start with a hug, a smile and time taken to look at pictures of grandkids. I learned that I can inspire you by practicing what I preach and that’s why you don’t mind if I am still in my sweats at your 8 am appointment. Who taught me these things? You did. I have often stated that my patients have been more of a blessing to me than I have been to them. That is why I always look for ways to give back, return compassion, exceed expectations and make it easy for you when you need easy the most. I call this philosophy and way of caring for patients Whole Life Wellness. I created Cornerstone Family Practice to extend and preserve this philosophy. Whole Life Wellness is a partnership in which we will work together thoughtfully to craft a healthcare plan that is unique to you and your family.
I can often be found pitch side watching any one of my three kids playing soccer, cycling the rolling hills of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, playing basketball anywhere there is a hoop and hiking with my wife, kids and dog. In quiet moments I read anything, though sports history and biographies are my favorite. I find pleasure in writing. I am an active member and enjoy worshiping at our church; First Presbyterian North Shore.
